NFL'S Best
In a supermarket, Kurtis the stock boy was busily working when a new voice came over the loud speaker asking for a carry out at register 4. Kurtis was almost finished, and wanted to get some fresh air, and decided to answer the call. As he approached the check-out stand a distant smile caught his eye, the new check-out girl was beautiful. She was an older woman (maybe 26 and he was only 22) and he fell in love. Later that day, after his shift was over, he waited by the punch clock to find out her name. She came into the break room, smiled softly at him, took her card and punched out, then left. He looked at her card, BRENDA. He walked out only to see her start walking up the road. Next day, he waited outside as she left the supermarket, and offered her a ride home. He looked harmless enough, and she accepted. When he dropped her off, he asked if maybe he could see her again, outside of work. She simply said it wasn't possible. He pressed and she explained she had two children and she couldn't afford a baby-sitter, so he offered to pay for the baby-sitter. Reluctantly she accepted his offer for a date for the following Saturday. That Saturday night he arrived at her door only to have her tell him that she was unable to go with him. The baby-sitter had called and canceled. To which Kurtis simply said, "Well, let's take the kids with us." She tried to explain that taking the children was not an option, but again not taking no for an answer, he pressed. Finally Brenda, brought him inside to meet her children. She had an older daughter who was just as cute as a bug, Kurtis thought, and then Brenda brought out her son, in a wheelchair. An injury in infancy had caused brain damage with paralysis. Kurtis asked Brenda, "I still don't understand why the kids can't come with us?" Brenda was amazed. Most men would run away from a woman with two kids, especially if one had disabilities - just like her first husband and father of her children had done. Kurtis was not ordinary - - - he had a different mindset. That evening Kurtis and Brenda loaded up the kids, went to dinner and the movies. When her son needed anything Kurtis would take care of him. When he needed to use the restroom, he picked him up out of his wheelchair, took him and brought him back. The kids loved Kurtis. At the end of the evening, Brenda knew this was the man she was going to marry and spend the rest of her life with. A year later, they were married and Kurtis adopted both of her children. Since then they have added two more kids. So what happened to Kurtis the stock boy and Brenda the check-out girl? Well, Mr. & Mrs. Kurt Warner now live in Arizona, where he is currently employed as the quarterback of the National Football League Arizona Cardinals and has his Cardinals in the Super Bowl. Is this a surprise ending or could you have guessed that he was not an ordinary person. It should be noted that he also quarterbacked the Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI. He has also been the NLF's Most Valuable Player twice and the Super Bowl's Most Valuable Player. AND NOW, THE REST OF THE STORY: Today at church our minister mentioned that when Kurt, his wife and children go out to eat he has one of his children pick out a family eating at the restaurant. Kurt then tells the wait staff he is picking up the tab for that family's dinner anonymously. He remembers the days he was working nights in the grocery store and feeding his family on food stamps.
2000 sandwiches
When I was a kid, I read about David Wilkerson who took to Gospel to the gangs of NewYork. I even saw the movie "The Cross and the Switchblade"that was made about him. Many know about that, but most don't know what happened in his church just eight years ago. In the fall of 2001, Pastor David Wilkerson, of New York City, was warned by God that a calamity was coming. For six weeks they felt an intense burden and enormous heaviness. A critical need for intercession was so profound that PastorWilkerson canceled everything on the church calendar –mission's, conferences, youth events and every guest speaker. For six weeks, there wasn't a sermon. Instead, there wasintercession for our nation with weeping and repentance. They knew something was coming and that something was bad. And that something was soon. So they prayed. And prayed …and prayed. Then Wilkerson felt God telling him something that seemed rather bizarre. He felt God telling him to make sandwiches lots of sandwiches. What were they for? Who would eat them? That part wasn't clear, but his church did what they believed God was telling them anyway. And on the 10th of September they stayed up all night making hundreds and hundreds of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.By morning they had about 2,000 sandwiches. At 8:46 a.m. thefirst plane hit the World Trade Center and Times SquareChurch was ready to feed and minister to rescue workers and victims of our nation's worst attack.
walking Home
A girl went to her friend̢۪s house and she ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small community and she lived only a few blocks away.As she walked along under the bike trail Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided to take it.However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection.Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there.Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep.Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station..She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him.She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her..She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her".

A Prophetic Word
"Prophetic Word Released for a Time Such as This!"The Lord says, "Let the sound of reformation come into you. Feel the brooding of My Spirit over you. My Spirit brooded over the confusion of the earth realm, and I can brood over your confusion. Fully submit your spirit to gain insight into My plan of reformation. Ministries are reforming. Lives are reforming. Cities are changing. Church gatherings are reforming. There is a cataclysmic ending and beginning going on in the earth that is creating My plan of fullness. There is a mounting up. Angels are guarding your reforming. Life systems around you are changing. The water is being applied to the clay and the Potter's wheel is accelerating. You must be ready and start coming up and I'll meet you half way. I will overshadow you as you ascend. I will shadow you and bring you through the confusion you've been in. Be ready. Come up. Ascend and watch that confusion end.

Tom Brady, Patriots savior, has returned ... to the golf course

Brady, as all football fans know, suffered a season-ending knee injury eight minutes into his first game last year on a hit that was unparalleled in all of NFL history for its catastrophic consequences and blatant disregard for fair play unfortunate but not unusual (de-ESPN'ed). Like Jesus, Brady carries the hopes and dreams of an entire fanbase on his back. However, unlike Jesus, Brady spent his recovery time getting spoonfed by a supermodel; I don't remember reading anything like that in Sunday school.

GPS NAVIGATOR: AKA HOLY SPIRIT
Today God told me to WAIT AND LISTEN: as we ventured out in the old Ford explorer, Jim had mentioned how inconvenient it would be without the GPS Navigation System. Especially in the days of old when we had to venture out without one. It seemed pretty comical as we chuckled about how the new explorers have this wonderful feature of single door passenger side entry... in all reality the only door that opened was the passenger side door. In order to get into the drivers side door you had to reach through the passenger side.
All of a sudden It hit me... that the reason God brought down this inconvenience was to remind us that we are to let Him do the driving as we reach through to open the door for Him. WOW! God is constantly speaking is anyone listening?
The GPS NAVIGATOR is the best illustrator of how the life in the Spirit looks. Before the CROSS it was a bit more complicated to hear what God wanted and only a select few had this privilege aka Prophets. Now after Christ death on the Cross, He has made it possible for everyone on planet earth to hear Him, walk with Him, love Him. Amen
Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice and obedience unto death for me, may I sacrifice as You did; unconditionally, irrevocably, completely Amen

Denny's for Supper?
Today GOd told me to GO.
Denny's was offering free Grandslam's till 2:00PM.
As we approached the outside the building there were crowds of people trying to get inside for a free breakfast. I told Paula that there were a lot of people in line. As we pulled up and waited for a parking spot, a vehicle pulled away from the building just as we arrived. The spot seemed perfect so we proceeded to pull in. When we got inside the building the numbers were great and Paula moved ahead to put our names on the list. As we waited in line, God spoke to me, THOSE WHO WAIT WILL BE FED. So I leaned over towards Paula and shared what God had told me.
As I continued to wait, I became conscious of all the poor people. "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy."
Are we as hungry for Jesus as we are for a free Grandslam breakfast? Not are we hungry for what Jesus can do for us, rather are we hungry for every Word that proceeds from His mouth?
As many were patiently waiting for their names to get called; are we as anxious to hear the calling by God to GO? As Jesus replied, when asked, "are you going to eat?!" 'I have a meal that you know nothing about.' His meal was hearing and doing what God had set in front of HIM.
Jesus knew the importance of believing in God..., God would provide for His hunger pains. He also knew the importance of trusting in God rather than satisfying a emotional lust. And if God wants us to hold off on eating, we need to trust in HIM.
MAN DOES NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE
BUT FROM EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS
FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD
showing up late, ladies second, eating without the family?... surely God wouldn't have me do that? THAT'S DOWN RIGHT RUDE! Rude to the world maybe, but Jesus never considered nor catered to the worlds wicked ways. Actually He made a point in doing things exactly opposite to the confinement of the world. If you're going to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, He will make you standout in a crowd... walking on dry land was a task that the disciple realized first hand that they were going to need a little extra help...!
not setting your alarm, drinking only lemon water for eight days, what's the point to all this madness? Lets ask the prophets of old: sleeping on your side for the sins of Israel, cooking a meal with cow dung, not going out side for days? This seems extravagant!!
not brushing your teeth, skipping meals, shoveling the end of your parents driveway just wide enough for one vehicle to pass through... what is the meaning behind all this?
Many were willing to wait over an hour for free food that will perish. Are we as willing to wait for free food to come down from God? Those who are truly hungry will get fed... or are you more concerned with your own agenda. 'Aw, it's over a mile away' or 'I refuse to wait in line' Very few of us today know what it means to remain loyal to a person, mainly that person being our Saviour, our Lord Amen. We don't even bat an eye when it comes to showing up late for church or a sporting event. But when it comes down to showing up on time for GOd, we say, 'He's gracious enough to let it slide.' Total disrespect and we are totally unaware of it.
Are you willing to show up late for a banquet if God announces it. Are we willing to miss a sermon from our favorite pastor, if God wills it? These are moving questions... we must get tuned in to hearing the Voice of God! Even as Jesus lived His life, are we going to get it? There are many today that are trying to live legalistic, moralistic lifestyles, yet are missing the boat.
We show up on time to every church service, never miss a meal, respect our elders, yet totally disrespect our Lord and Saviour Jesus THE CHRIST.
We must surrender... and this takes time. Not time to come, but time as in NOW. The offer has a time frame... as many missed the cut off time for their free Grandslam, don't miss the cut off for Him Amen
We need to start taking orders and never stop!
We need to start pleasing our King!
Amen

About Me
- Jamie Lee Grismer
- Committed, Born again follower of Jesus [The Christ] on dry land. I believe the Holy Scriptures are Truth and the Holy Spirit is Life. I believe that Salvation must be obtained, by our continual, assiduousness to God. "And grieve not the Holy Spirit, Thee God, remain within Him, which _confirms your hopes_ towards the day of Redemption." I believe that very few will obtain salvation and will be shut out. 'Wide is the way that leads to destruction, many will choose it... 'Narrow is the way that leads to life and few will find it. "'..any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.' 'Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.'" 'So be very careful to love the Lord your God' Amen.
